DAWN LAZAR

YOUR SOUND FACILITATOR

Dawn Playing Crystal Bowls at Apres Zen Community Sound Bath in Mammoth Lakes, CA

Dawn Lazar’s work is rooted in more than 30 years of yoga practice, continued study and a curiosity about the connection between body, mind, spirit and the natural world.

She offers welcoming pathways into meditation, inviting people to slow down, listen deeply, and reconnect with themselves and the world around them.

Her path has been shaped by years of personal practice, healing, learning and a deepening relationship with nature. Ironically, the stillness she once resisted became one of her greatest teachers.

Today, Dawn is passionate about creating experiences that make meditation feel approachable, especially for those who never imagined it was a practice meant for them.

At the heart of Dawn’s work are Alchemy Crystal Singing Bowls infused with earth elements, complemented by other instruments that create rich, immersive soundscapes.

She sees sound as an effortless way to settle into meditation, allowing people to experience stillness through listening, sensation and awareness rather than effort or expectation.

A strong advocate for workplace wellness, community care and making mindfulness and restorative practices more accessible, Dawn believes that personal well-being and collective well-being are deeply connected. Her hope is to create spaces where sound becomes an invitation to listen inward, reconnect with innate wisdom and carry a greater sense of ease into everyday life.

Inspired by the mountains, forests, moving water and open skies surrounding her homes in Mammoth Lakes and San Juan Capistrano, Dawn’s work is deeply influenced by the natural world. Whether in nature, a studio, the workplace or a private setting, each gathering reflects a simple belief: we are not separate from nature—we are part of it.

Restoration and recovery are not luxuries, but essential rhythms of living well and returning to balance.
